Did you Google “Miley Cyrus workout routine” right after her song “Flowers” dropped? Miley knows how to make burpees look appealing, right? Let’s see what her workout is all about. This routine consists of multi-joint, full-body movements that cover a variety of bases: you’ll work on strength, cardio, and core stability. Let’s give it a go!
Miley’s workout routine consists of six exercises.
- Battle rope alternating wave
- Glute bridge
- Beast burpees
- Lunges to knees drive
- Crawl to Spiderman push ups
- Bird dog
Now let’s put them together in a fun workout, like Flowers. 😉
Warm-up (5 minutes) with some cardio and some dynamic stretching. Some leg swings, arm swings, and knee hugs will do the trick.
Main workout (30-40 minutes):
Round 1:
- Battle rope alternating wave: 30-60 seconds
- Glute bridge: 3 sets of 10-12 reps
- Beast burpees: 3 sets of 10-12 reps
- Lunges to knee drive: 3 sets of 10-12 reps (each leg)
Round 2:
- Crawl to Spiderman push-ups: 3 sets of 10-12 reps
- Bird dog: 3 sets of 10-12 reps (each side)
- Battle rope alternating wave: 30-60 seconds
- Glute bridge: 3 sets of 10-12 reps
Take 30-60 seconds rest between each set.
If you don’t have access to a gym or equipement replace Battle rope with Mountain climbers or Plank jack.
